C.R.O.S.S. – FINAL MEETING

28 June 2019 – On 22 June 2019, the final Steering Committee was held at Campo dei Miracoli, Rome. The meeting, held within the Social Inclusion Days final event, was the occasion to pull the strings: a moment of comparison and discussion, necessary to reflect together, to understand what went wrong and, at the same time, to enjoy the extraordinary results achieved!

C.R.O.S.S. PROMOTES THE SOCIAL INCLUSION DAYS FINAL EVENT!

C.R.O.S.S. has now arrived at its conclusion and, to celebrate, Calciosociale promotes a week of activities and events on the theme of social inclusion and “sport for all” organized in Campo dei Miracoli, Rome. The program provides for the final international tournament of Socialsoccer involving all the winning teams of the local integrated tournaments and the ReTake Labs with a final exhibition presenting the work done by the participants!

Special guests of the initiative will be the partners of the project from Germany, England, Hungary, and Bulgaria for a final fight to the death. The International Socialsoccer Tournament will be the focus of a series of activities promoted by Calciosociale, the lead applicant: from the ReTake Labs dedicated to the environmental education and the recovery of disused public spaces, to entertaining workshops dedicated to the delicacies of the Italian cuisine, up to the beach cleaning activity to protect the area of ​​Torre Flavia, Ladispoli, organized in collaboration with the ONG Marevivo.

A week full of opportunities dedicated to exchanging, cooperation and tolerance; to promote sport as a powerful tool of social inclusion for all young people, regardless of their ethnicity, nationality, and religion!

C.R.O.S.S. HAS PUBLISHED THE RESEARCH ON SOCIALSOCCER

The two-year C.R.O.S.S. project is coming to an end and celebrates its conclusion by publishing the results of its scientific research!

The book, titled “Physical, Technical and Psychological effects of SocialSoccer® on young soccer players, involved in the “CROSS” European Erasmus+ project“, is the result of joint work of the Scientific research team of Tor Vergata University, that monitored the development of CROSS, through the study of the impact that the Socialsoccer methodology has had on the performances of the young participants.

 

 

C.R.O.S.S. HAS A NEW PARTNER!

The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency has officially approved the entry of the new partner organization from Germany: we welcome Stöckle Sport & Care!

To bring the Socialsoccer into as many clubs as possible and to add an important contribution to the promotion of the values ​​of inclusion and non-discrimination, C.R.O.S.S. welcomes the new German partner Stöckle Sport & Care!

Here is the COMPANY PROFILE PRESENTATION!

Dietmar Stöckle has more than 15 year-experience in organizing Sport – projects (Football, Basketball, Volleyball) with educational contents. After a collaboration, more than 10 years, with AC Milan, we started, in 2015, a new project with AS Roma. In spring 2016 it was founded Stöckle Sport & Care, a nonprofit company, to point out the importance of this new social project. At the moment about 30 persons are working with us (coaches, teachers, educators) and in 2018 we will have taken care of more than 700 kids.

 

C.R.O.S.S. – SECOND INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR

10 MAY 2019, ROME – The International  Seminar ERASMUS+”CROSS” was held on May 10, 2019. This Seminar was the final part of the Sports Culture Week 2019 of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.

More than 250 students, speakers and some European partners –  via Skype – participated in the initiative.

The results of the research project “CROSS” were presented. During the Seminar, the authors also presented the bilingual book “Il Calciosociale. Le linee guida – Socialsoccer . The guidelines” (D’Ottavio, Esposito, Lombardo, Pantanella, Ruscello, Valente e Vallati, 2019 Universitalia, Rome).

C.R.O.S.S. – III STEERING COMMITEE

07 March 2019 – Held the C.R.O.S.S. Skype Call Transnational Conference, Third Transnational Project Meeting.

The meeting marked a turning point for C.R.O.S.S.: the official presentation to the project partners of the new entry organization Stöeckle Sport and Care! As suggested by the coordinator Massimo Vallati during his introductory talk: a moment for starting again to renew the spirit of Socialsoccer and complete the activities with the highest commitment!

C.R.O.S.S. – II STEERING COMMITEE

26 October 2017 – The Second Steering Committee of C.R.O.S.S. ended yesterday in Sofia, Bulgaria. The meeting – from 23 to 25 October 2017 – was attended by all the project partners, who took the opportunity to discuss and exchange opinions on the difficulties faced during the first phase of the project implementation: the bad weather, in particular, has strongly limited the partners’ work, by postponing the start of the tournaments!

The meeting was also an opportunity for a Press Conference, started in the presence of some of the official representatives of the Sofia City Council, The Ministry of Sport and other local institutions and associations involved in sports activities and social issues.

C.R.O.S.S. – KICK-OFF MEETING

30 March 2017 – The kick-off meeting, held from the 22nd to 24th March 2017 at Campo dei Miracoli, Rome, ended in the full spirt of Socialsoccer! A great chance for the project partners: a moment of sharing and learning, the first step for a solid and lasting partnership!

The coordinator, Massimo Vallati (Calciosociale), with the help of the scientific coordinator Bruno Ruscello (University of Tor Vergata) presented to the partners the Socialsoccer methodology in all its aspects: from the activities to be carried out to the rules to follow, from the expected results to the tools used to detect them! A full-on and exhaustive look at the extraordinary journey of the C.R.O.S.S. project!

Furthermore, during the meeting, the Communication Plan was illustrated by subcontractor Global & Local.
